Site Manager – Critical Utilities
We are working with a well-established organisation operating within the
utilities and energy infrastructure sector
, currently seeking an experienced
Site Manager
to take ownership of a large, technically complex client site.
This is a senior, hands-on role with full responsibility for
site operations, team leadership, and commercial performance
, within a highly regulated, safety-critical environment.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will:
* Lead and manage the onsite team, ensuring high standards of health, safety, and compliance
* Act as the key point of contact for client stakeholders on site
* Oversee day-to-day technical operations across critical utilities infrastructure
* Manage subcontractors, cost control, and commercial performance
* Produce regular operational and financial reports
* Ensure all works are delivered in line with statutory, contractual, and corporate requirements
About You
You'll bring a strong background in
industrial or critical utilities
, along with:
* An engineering degree (mechanical or electrical preferred)
* 10+ years' post-graduate experience in utilities or energy centre environments
* Proven site management or supervisory experience
* Strong technical knowledge of systems such as HV/LV distribution, steam, boilers, water treatment, standby generation, compressed air, and automation
* Experience managing contractors, budgets, and client relationships
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
Desirable qualifications include
Six Sigma
and formal
supervisory or management certification
