Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
The Company Accountant role is a key position in our organization, responsible for managing all financial activities with accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to improve internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. intercompany accounts. Compliance & Tax : Manage VAT, PAYE / PRSI returns, ensuring compliance with Irish Revenue requirements. &nbs p ;Prepare files for annual statutory audit. Accounts Function Management : Oversee AP / AR, ensuring timely supplier payments and customer collections Budgeting & Forecasting : Prepare annual budgets, cash forecasts, and monthly expenditure analysis Process Improvement : Identify areas for efficiency improvements in financial systems, including digital accounting software Payroll : Oversee or process weekly/monthly payroll incl uding deductions compliance Required Skills Qualification Qualified Accountant ( ACA ACCA CIMA CPA ) finalist/part - qualified accountant Experience Previous experience in an SME/fast-paced environment Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards tax requirements High proficiency Excel ( pivot tables VLOOKUPs )
