To review and audit the IRC Area and Branch financial returns and assist in phase two of iPlicit implementation for areas and branches.

Duration: Specified purpose contract, 12 months, Full time (35 hours per week)
Salary: €45,000 – 50,000

SUMMARY OF ROLE
To review and audit the IRC Area and Branch financial returns and assist in phase two of iPlicit implementation for areas and branches.
This role will have line management responsibilities for one direct report.
ROLE RESPONSIBLILTIES
1. Work with members to transition to iPlicit system and training.
2. CompletionofIncome&Expenditure summaries.
3. CompletionofBank Reconciliations.
4. Tracingalltransactionstotheyearlybank statements.
5. Reviewofsupporting documentation.
6. Reconciliationofintercompany transactions.
7. Investigationandansweringofroutinequeriesfromthebranchesandexternal auditors.
8. Documentanyfindingsforexplanationto auditors.
9. Ad hoc tasksas required.
10. AbidebyandupholdthePrinciplesoftheInternationalRedCrossRedCrescent Movement.
11. Undertakeanyotherreasonablework-relateddutiesandresponsibilitiesassigned by the relevant line manager that are consistent with the nature of the job and level of responsibility.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Essential Criteria
12. Part qualified accountant with 2-3 years of experience.
13. Stronginterpersonalandcommunicationskills,bothwrittenand verbal are key as you will work with a variety stakeholders.
14. ExcellentcommandofMicrosoftSuite,especiallyMicrosoft Excel
15. Effectiveorganisational skills
16. Attentionto detail.
Desirable Criteria
17. KnowledgeofiPlicitorotherfinancialreportingsystemsa plus.
18. Experienceinthenot-for-profit sector.
19. Volunteer experience.
20. Supervisor / line manager experience
