Temporary Bookkeeper Role with Donegal Organisation
About the Opportunity
This is a temporary bookkeeping position with a Donegal-based organisation, requiring an experienced bookkeeper to assist with setting up their new office in Letterkenny.
Key Responsibilities:
* Upload payments to online banking for authorisation by the Director and Treasurer
* Check bank account balances regularly
* File requisitions, purchase order forms, invoices, and remittances
* Record and pay travel and subsistence expenses for the Director, Management Committee members, and staff
* Process and issue staff wages and payslips on a weekly basis, submitting payroll to Revenue
* Collate returns monthly to Revenue in relation to PAYE/PRSI
Requirements:
* At least 2 years' experience in an accounting role
* Knowledge of payroll is essential
* Experience using Sage
* Able to perform all necessary finance duties as required
* Available for a minimum of 6 weeks, at least 30 hours per week
