About the Role
We are working with a leading construction company in Dublin, delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and heritage projects. They are seeking a Senior Technical Submittals / BCAR Coordinator to take ownership of technical submissions, RFIs, and BCAR-related quality documentation across complex projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong site or engineering experience who is looking to move into a more technical, detail-focused role while remaining close to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage technical submittals for materials, systems, and design packages
Review and coordinate RFIs, ensuring technical accuracy and buildability
Take ownership of BCAR documentation, compliance, and coordination
Maintain submittals registers, documentation, and version control processes
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, Design Teams, and subcontractors
Identify risks, resolve technical issues, and support smooth project delivery
Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and project closeout
Candidate Profile
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (or equivalent experience)
5+ years’ experience in construction
Strong experience with submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation
Proven BCAR experience is essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
Experience with BIM / VDC
Familiarity with document control systems
