A leading global investment management firm is looking to hire a Senior Analyst to join its Currency Management team in Dublin. This is a strong opportunity for someone with investment operations or middle office experience looking to move into a highly visible FX and exposure management role within a complex international environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor fund cash balances, securities holdings and FX exposures across a range of investment products including Fixed Income, Equity, Multi-Asset and Fund-of-Funds structures.
Generate FX orders including spot, forward and NDF transactions to manage cash and hedge currency exposure.
Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Investment teams, Trading, Risk and Compliance teams on FX exposure management and funding requirements.
Investigate and analyse hedged product performance and explain deviations from expected outcomes.
Support fund launches, closures, strategic initiatives and process improvement projects.
Produce and analyse management information, identifying trends, risks and anomalies for senior stakeholders.
Contribute to operational efficiency initiatives with a focus on risk reduction and process enhancement.
Requirements
Strong experience within Investment Operations, Treasury, Middle Office, Currency Management, or a related environment.
Strong understanding of financial markets and foreign exchange products.
Experience managing cash balances, FX exposure, liquidity, or reconciliations within an investment management or banking environment.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Charles River or similar OMS platforms is advantageous.
