We currently have vacancies for an Assistant Accommodation Manager at the Royal Marine Hotel, Dun Laoghaire.

The Deputy Accommodation Manager is responsible for supporting the Accommodation Manager with maximizing guest satisfaction by ensuring guest rooms are serviced, clean, and replenished. This role involves giving work direction to housekeeping staff and maintaining the team's high productivity. It is a quality assurance position that requires maintaining the highest level of four-star standards in guest rooms.

The ideal candidate must have:

* Previous leadership experience in a 4-star quality-focused hotel
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* A proven track record of driving standards in a similar role
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* A working knowledge of computers
* A hands-on approach

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping as per department SOPs.
* Work closely with the front office department to ensure correct room status is communicated.
* Ensure all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Engineering Team.
* Handle all guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
* Attend and actively contribute to scheduled meetings.
* Hold a daily pre-shift meeting with the team prior to their reporting to stations and ensure training is conducted.
* Maintain the office, linen room, floor storage rooms, and trolleys in a neat condition.
* Check rooms to the highest standards of cleanliness and report maintenance issues.
* Ensure all checklists are completed by the linen porter, public area, and night attendant.
* Relieve other accommodation staff areas as necessary.
* Ensure the team is aware of all relevant information regarding daily events, group functions, and guest activities.
* Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security, and return of guest lost property.
* Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment as required.
* Order and receive supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
