We are seeking a seasoned Sales Professional to drive revenue growth in our Foodservice and Wholesale markets across GB and Ireland. As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and nurturing relationships with current and new customers, anticipating their needs, and driving sales growth.
Reporting to the Functional Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key accounts, achieving sales targets and KPIs as defined by management, and ensuring effective customer management to retain and grow their business.
* Manage and grow existing customer relationships in GB and Ireland
* Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through effective customer engagement and relationship building
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, a customer-centric approach, and experience in Business Development or Account Management in FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within assigned customer accounts, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing ones.
2. Business Development: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth.
3. Performance Management: Set and achieve individual sales targets and KPIs, collaborating with colleagues to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to drive results.
To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record of sales success in a B2B environment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
