General Services Manager
We are seeking an experienced General Services Manager to lead the delivery of integrated facilities management services at a high-profile client site in Limerick.
This senior leadership role holds full responsibility for operational performance, client relationships, financial management and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of all Integrated Facilities Management services, including both hard and soft services.
Ensure services are delivered in line with agreed SLAs and quality standards.
Manage subcontractors and third-party vendors effectively.
Drive continuous improvement across all service areas.
Act as the primary contact for the client on all FM-related matters.
Build strong, long-term relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Lead regular performance reviews and service meetings.
Manage contract financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly P&L reporting.
Monitor costs and drive efficiencies to meet or exceed financial targets.
Identify opportunities for growth and additional services.
Lead, develop, and engage a multidisciplinary team of approximately 50 staff.
Drive a high-performance culture through coaching and development.
Oversee recruitment, performance management, and workforce planning.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMP/GDP standards.
Maintain high standards in Health & Safety, quality, and environmental practices.
Manage risk assessments, audits, and business continuity planning.
Identify and implement service improvements and innovation opportunities.
Support contract growth through additional services and efficiencies.
Contribute to the overall account strategy and long-term planning.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within a regulated environment (e.g., pharma, medical devices, FMCG).
Proven experience managing outsourced services or facilities management contracts.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L management.
Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading and developing large, multidisciplinary teams.
Strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and operational standards.
Facilities, Engineering, or Technical qualification.
Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments.
NEBOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
