Senior Security Firmware Engineer - Semiconductor / Embedded / C/C++ / ARM
We are seeking a number of Senior Security Firmware Engineers to join our client in the beautiful city of Cork in Ireland on a permeant basis. The role will be predominantly onsite with a small amount of flex on hybrid working.
The team is focused on developing cutting-edge security software for next-generation AI accelerator cards and in this role, you would be responsible for designing and integrating firmware features that ensure secure operation, attestation, and lifecycle management across high-performance compute platforms.

* Design and develop security software for AI accelerator cards, focusing on TDISP-based trusted device assignment and lifecycle management
* Implement SR-IOV-based secure execution environments for isolated and attested PCIe virtual functions
* Develop or integrate PCIe security protocol software (SPDM, CMA, MCTP, IDE, DOE, etc.)
* Integrate secure boot, attestation, and security policy enforcement in our Trusted Execution Environment
* Optimize performance and memory management within secure enclaves
* Debug complex firmware issues using JTAG, RAM dumps, and secure debug tools
* Contribute to threat modeling, risk assessment, and standards compliance (TDISP, OCP, TCG, CCC)

Your background:
* 3+ years of experience in system or embedded software development, ideally with a focus on platform or firmware security
* Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills in Linux-based embedded systems
* Background in device driver development and familiarity with SoC architecture (core, cache, memory, bus, I/O)
* Understanding of cryptographic primitives and their use in system security
* Experience with secure boot, attestation, TPM, or platform security technologies
* Hands-on experience with ARM TrustZone (RISC-V experience a plus)
* Familiarity with tools such as git/Gerrit, JTAG, and logic analyzers
* Contributions to open-source security or virtualization projects are a bonus
