HR Director

About the Role
Reporting directly to the senior executive team, the
HR Director
will lead the full HR function, overseeing strategic and operational HR activities across the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in talent management, organisational development, employee engagement, and supporting a strong, people‑centric culture.
This role is
based in Dublin 2.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a forward‑thinking HR strategy aligned with business goals
* Lead a high‑performing HR team across recruitment, learning & development, employee relations, and HR operations
* Advise senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and succession management
* Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and wellbeing
* Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and best practice
* Implement HR policies, systems and processes that support operational efficiency
* Champion diversity, equity & inclusion across the organisation
* Oversee compensation, benefits and performance frameworks
* Support leadership development, coaching, and capability building
Skills & Experience
* 10+ years' HR experience, including 5+ in a senior leadership role
* Proven background in fast‑paced environments such as construction, engineering, technical services, or professional services
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders
* Demonstrated experience in organisational development and strategic workforce planning
* Deep understanding of Irish employment law
* Excellent communication, influencing, and change‑management skills
* CIPD qualification (Level 7 or above) or equivalent is desirable
