About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Social Care Worker
to support children under 12's in a safe, nurturing environment. You will provide direct care, help implement individual care plans, and empower children to grow, learn, and thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young lives while enjoying an attractive salary.
Responsibilities:
* Build trusting, supportive relationships with children and meet their emotional, social, and educational needs.
* Deliver and monitor individual care and placement plans.
* Facilitate family time and encourage children to participate in decisions affecting their lives.
* Ensure a safe environment by following policies, Health & Safety procedures, and safeguarding protocols.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, external professionals, and agencies.
* Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings, training, and supervision.
Requirements:
* BA in Applied Social Care Work (Level 7/8) or equivalent.
* Full clean driving licence.
* Understanding of child development, safeguarding, and child protection legislation.
