Job Description
We are delighted to announce that we are actively recruiting Support Workers for a full-time permanent position. Our client is dedicated to supporting people with physical / intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life, a life like any other in a community-based environment.
Our client works across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide, offering unique, person-centred care that transforms lives. We require strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults, including effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
* Have 1 years experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Experience working with challenging behaviours.
