A seasoned Cost Accountant is sought after to spearhead a high-performing finance team within our manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles, with a strong focus on cost management and financial analysis.
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a team of accountants, working closely with the Finance Director to drive strategic decision-making. Key responsibilities include:
* Preparation of journal entries related to manufacturing accounting
* Cost centre controlling and budget coordination
* Account reconciliation and balance sheet valuation
* Margin variance analysis (PPV, production, and absorption variances)
In addition, the role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. A proven track record of driving process improvements through Lean initiatives is highly desirable.
