Iarnrd Eireann, Irish Rail are now recruiting for a Finance Manager Governance & Controls for the Infrastructure Managers Department. The Infrastructure Managers Department (IM) is made up of Engineering, Track /Access/Operations, and support functions. The teams are Civil Engineering, Signal, Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering, building & conservation, and Infrastructure Operations. The successful candidate will become part of the IM Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation and analysis of periodic balance sheet, working capital and cashflow reports for internal IM and external use. The role is also responsible for the production of balance sheet reports across all sections and budgetary, forecasting as required. Essential Requirements: Candidate must hold a Professional Accounting Qualification with a minimum of 7 years PQE Proven IT skills & knowledge specifically Excel and SAP (FI/CO, MM) Detailed understanding of FRS102 Detailed knowledge of Revenue PAYE, VAT, BIK taxation guidelines Ability to work to strict timelines and strong delivery/execution focus. Demonstrated ability in the preparation of high quality, timely and consistent financial reports for internal and external use.
