The Renewals Team Lead is an integral part of the Revenue Operations team, overseeing the comprehensive order-to-cash process, including subsequent renewals. Situated within the Accounting department, a key component of the CFO organization at Diligent, the Renewals Team Lead holds a pivotal position responsible for the operational aspects of global renewals. This entails ensuring timely and accurate setup of renewal invoices in accordance with contractual agreements.The role is highly visible and involves close collaboration with commercial teams to facilitate seamless communication with customers, meeting their evolving needs with a strong customer-centric focus. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk, this role significantly impacts Diligent's revenue recognition and accounts receivable processes, with active involvement in the integration of acquired companies. The Renewals Team Lead will also lead and manage a team of Renewals Specialists.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Senior Manager, Deal Desk in operationalizing the company strategy for price increasesEnsure global process is being followed for every productOversee that renewals are being setup for on-time invoicing per individual contractsPartner with the commercial org regarding any renewal time changesWork closely with the Senior Manager, Deal Desk to help automate our processesMaintain a thorough understanding of Diligent products and servicesStrong understanding of the Diligent structure in order to partner with internal teams appropriatelySupport on the integration of acquired companiesApply best practices to renewals managementManage and train a team of Renewals SpecialistsStrong understanding of automated contracting systemRequired Experience/Skills3+ or more years of experience in renewals or similar roles1+ or more years of people management experienceMust have strong attention to detailStrong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills, flexibility to accommodate different situations and temperamentsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and demanding global environment.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)Superior organization and prioritization skillsAbility to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenPreferred Experience/SkillsDocuSign CLM or similar contracting experience preferred#LI-SM1#LI-HybridCreativity is ingrained in our culture.
