Robert Walters is partnering with a growing multinational in South Dublin looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant for a permanent position. They are looking for someone with a mix of practice and industry experience for this role. Excellent salary and benefits included and great opportunities to progress to Finance Manager level. Two days office and salary circa €70,000 - €80,000 DOE.
Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Financial Accountant
* Lead revenue accounting processes for Irish Business Units, ensuring robust controls and accurate reporting.
* Review reconciliations while liaising with third-party payroll providers.
* Produce insightful monthly analysis to support management reporting and decision-making.
* Prepare financial information for budgets, forecasts, and audits while investigating variances and resolving issues proactively.
* Support treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, banking transactions, and funding requirements.
* Manage and develop a small team of accounts assistants while driving process improvements within the finance function.
Position Requirements
* ACA qualification with 3+ years of experience in monthly management accounts or audit (Big 8 practice experience preferred).
* Practice trained from a Top 10
* Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Innovative mindset with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
