Job Title: Packing Machine Technician

Position Summary:
The Packing Machine Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of automated packing equipment used in the pharmaceutical production process. This role ensures that packaging lines run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with GMP standards, while minimizing downtime and maintaining product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor packing machines to ensure consistent performance and output.
* Perform machine setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to batch requirements.
* Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal machine performance.
* Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during production runs.
* Ensure packaging materials are loaded correctly and meet quality specifications.
* Maintain accurate production and maintenance records in line with GMP documentation standards.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues and improve line efficiency.
* Adhere to safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support training of new operators and technicians on packing equipment.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering (or equivalent experience).
* 2+ years of experience operating or maintaining packing machinery in a regulated manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical packaging standards.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes:
* Experience with blister, sachet, bottle, or carton packing lines.
* Knowledge of PLCs and automated control systems.
* Good communication and documentation skills.
* Flexible and proactive approach to shift work and production demands.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: €20.00 per hour
