This role presents a unique chance to take on the leadership of our Upstream Manufacturing shift and days teams. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for setting up plant operations for success, ensuring delivery of the manufacturing production schedule.
About This Role
* Lead a highly qualified team of Shift Leads and Operations Team members, providing direction and guidance to drive performance.
* Participate in generating site production plans, aligning with company objectives.
* Collaborate with integrated process teams to deliver on production plans, fostering a culture of excellence.
* Drive team performance to meet key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
* Cultivate partnerships with Technical groups across the site and network to foster technical excellence and innovation.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification in Science or Engineering (or higher) is essential for this role, demonstrating a strong foundation in scientific principles.
* Proven leadership and change management skills are critical in driving high-performance teams and adapting to evolving business needs.
* A demonstrated record of delivering high performance through team development and coaching is necessary for success in this position.
* At least eight years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector's complexities and nuances.
* Experience in product tech transfer and GMP manufacturing activities is highly valued, highlighting expertise in regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
