Our client is looking for a QA Lead to join the Digital Team. You will take full ownership of quality assurance across products, leading both manual and automated testing efforts. You will manage the Testing team, define and evolve testing strategy, and work closely with Development to ensure high-quality, reliable software delivery across the full Agile lifecycle. This role requires a candidate who is highly adaptable, professional, and comfortable in a fast-changing environment along with being on the tools day to day. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Testing team, coordinating all QA activities with Development Define, maintain, and improve testing processes, tools, and infrastructure Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated test frameworks Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate QA activities across projects Review requirements, specifications, and technical designs, providing timely feedback Identify, troubleshoot, and take ownership of technical issues and root-cause analysis Develop and maintain automated test scripts Integrate automated testing into Azure CI/CD pipelines (execution, monitoring, reporting) Apply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and drive continuous process improvement Required Qualifications & Experience Third-level qualification in IT or a related discipline Strong knowledge of QA best practices and testing methodologies Hands-on experience with automated testing usingCypress/Playwright and .NET Experience queryingMS SQL Server Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify root causes Experience integrating test automation intoAzure DevOps CI/CD pipelines Experience working inTDD/BDD environments using tools such asSpecFlow, Cucumber, or Gherkin Experience with test case management tools (e.g.Azure Test Plans) Previous experience managing or mentoring a QA team is desirable Personal Characteristics Self-motivated, energetic, and delivery-focused Strong technical aptitude with a desire to progress within QA leadership Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Team-oriented, yet proactive and ambitious Strong organisational and planning skills Ability to set and deliver against realistic objectives aligned to departmental goals Skills: Testing Automation Manual Testing QA Leadership
