Job Description:
Healthcare Assistants are required to care for clients in the Dun Laoghaire, Dalkey, Killiney, Ballybrack, and Shankill areas. We offer evening and weekend work options if you are unable to work during the week. You must be consistently available at the same times every day to qualify for this role.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Experience in caring, either professionally or within a family setting.
* Honest, caring, patient, and fluent in English.
* If you do not have your QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification, you should be working towards it, or we can provide free QQI training in Care Skills & Care of the Elderly.
* Ability to supply suitable character references and willingness to complete a Garda Vetting Form.
Compensation:
Rates vary depending on qualifications and experience:
* Qualified with full QQI and 2 years' experience: €16.00/hr Mon-Sat, €18.25/hr Sundays; Half-hour rates: €9.50 and €10.50 respectively.
* Qualified with full QQI: €15.75/hr Mon-Sat, €18.00/hr Sundays; Half-hour rates: €9.25 and €10.25 respectively.
* Care Skills & Care of the Elderly (no QQI): €15.00/hr Mon-Sat, €17.25/hr Sundays; Half-hour rates: €9.00 and €10.00 respectively.
* No QQI but training in progress: €14.00/hr Mon-Sat, €16.25/hr Sundays; Half-hour rates: €8.75 and €9.75 respectively.
