The Account Manager job responsibilities include:
Excellent quality Customer Service: Oversee order placement and execution with relevant production units.
Handle escalated customer queries from the Customer Service team and manage any complaints.
Take responsibility for achieving positive customer results and analyse KPIs related to financial performance and delivery metrics.
Strengthen long-term relationships: Develop and enhance your customer contracts and supplier agreements (annual budgets, capacity planning, slot reservations, modification programs, contract amendments).
Lead customer engagement: Collect and analyse your customer insights (requirements, planning, satisfaction) and host regular customer performance reviews with your clients.
Take on ad hoc special projects and initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer value.
Candidate skills and experience needed:
Minimum Diploma or degree qualified, preferably in a business or engineering discipline.
3 years+ experience in customer related roles
Experience in the Aviation industry is advantageous
Exceptional customer focus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Solid proficiency in the relevant IT systems used (MS Office/Teams, ERP Systems)
Diplomacy and negotiating ability.
Strong initiative to make decisions and a structured, systematic way of working
