The Account Manager job responsibilities include:
* Excellent quality Customer Service: Oversee order placement and execution with relevant production units.
* Handle escalated customer queries from the Customer Service team and manage any complaints.
* Take responsibility for achieving positive customer results and analyse KPIs related to financial performance and delivery metrics.
* Strengthen long-term relationships: Develop and enhance your customer contracts and supplier agreements (annual budgets, capacity planning, slot reservations, modification programs, contract amendments).
* Lead customer engagement: Collect and analyse your customer insights (requirements, planning, satisfaction) and host regular customer performance reviews with your clients.
* Take on ad hoc special projects and initiatives that drive operational excellence and customer value.
Candidate skills and experience needed:
* Minimum Diploma or degree qualified, preferably in a business or engineering discipline.
* 3 years+ experience in customer related roles
* Experience in the Aviation industry is advantageous
* Exceptional customer focus
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Solid proficiency in the relevant IT systems used (MS Office/Teams, ERP Systems)
* Diplomacy and negotiating ability.
* Strong initiative to make decisions and a structured, systematic way of working
