Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Technical Officer - Anatomy within UCD School of Medicine.
Medical education at the UCD School of Medicine involves a course of dissection of the human body during the students' preclinical years.
The successful applicant will support the subject of Anatomy through application of modern embalming methods and preparation of Anatomy classes.
They will work closely with the Head of Anatomy to optimise anatomy education.
Modern methods of teaching such as those involving sonographic anatomy, 3 D printing, and artificial intelligence are also used and will be supported by the successful applicant.
In addition, the successful will also provide technical support to the research laboratories within the Biomedical Sciences Section of the School of Medicine.
