Arch-I Modular Solutions is a 2D & 3D Modular Building Company based in Cavan. The Business has grown significantly over the last 5 years' the companies development to date in all areas of the Modular construction sector in Ireland and the UK, is a testament to the team at Arch-I. As part of our on-going growth, we are now looking to expand our team and have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Structural Steel Detailer at our Workshop outside Cavan Town.
Responsibilities:
· Your primary responsibility will be the production and coordination of models, detailed fabrication drawings and working with in house design team
· Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documents to accurately interpret the structural requirements and components for the project.
· Prepare shop drawings, assembly drawings, and erection plans, ensuring accurate representations of steel components and connections.
· Perform precise material takeoffs
· Collaborate and coordinate with design teams to resolve any discrepancies, conflicts, or modifications to design requirements during the detailing process.
· It is important that all shop drawings comply with relevant building codes, industry standards, and regulations to guarantee structural integrity and safety.
· Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews and checks on the completed drawings to maintain high-quality standards and accuracy before submission for approval.
· Coordination with Manufacturing / Assembly teams to communicate design specifications, provide clarifications, and address any on-site issues.
· Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in structural steel detailing technologies, software, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and precision in the detailing process.
Requirements:
* Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or related field desirable
* Must be proficient in industry-standard CAD software
* Ability to take projects from design concept to Fabrication stage
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality for oneself and others
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
* Strong multitasking and organizational skills
* Accountable and highly organized, taking ownership of tasks from start to finish
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Negotiable depending on canditate & relevant experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Experience: detailing / Structural Steel: 3 years (required)
