Key Responsibilities
Define, develop and test system software solutions to drive the adoption of ADI Human sensory devices.
Learn how the silicon works to a detailed level, including simulation, in collaboration with design teams.
Agree firmware requirements with the customer from documents and provide justified detailed firmware design.
Provide coding solutions that minimize power usage and create, document, and maintain firmware testing to achieve high code coverage.
Develop and maintain system-level Python applications that test firmware and hardware.
Provide detailed support documentation as required by the customer.
Essential Skills
10+ years of experience in Arm Cortex-M embedded software development.
First-class honours Degree in Electronic or Electronic & Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, distribution, and maintenance.
Experience in firmware development and testing across C, C++, Python.
Experience with hardware design and development, schematic, debugging, and standard test equipment.
Useful Skills
Ability to express customer value in a requirements specification.
Experience with Jenkins CI, Jira, Confluence, and Windows Teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills for internal and customer-facing communications.
Experience creating technical communications such as application notes and articles.
Ability to develop and deliver demonstration software for products and applications.
