Warehouse Operative Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
* Goods Inwards: Accurately receive and process incoming stock, ensuring all items are correctly recorded and stored.
* Order Picking: Efficiently pick and prepare stock for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with stocktaking to maintain accurate inventory records.
* Stores Organization: Help with the layout and organization of the stores to maximize space and improve efficiency.
* General Duties: Assist with other duties within the stores department as required.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Stores Experience: Previous experience in a stores or warehouse environment is a significant advantage.
* Computer Confidence: Proven experience and confidence using computer systems for data entry and stock management.
* Teamwork: A strong ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
* Personal Attributes: Must be bright, energetic, and highly motivated with a positive attitude.
* Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail is required to ensure the accuracy of stock and order information.
