As Head of Product Management, you must have strong people skills with good communication, facilitation and presentation techniques.
Ideally a person with prior experience in technical roles or product management is preferred with a basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems as well as digital solutions.
Using your technical skills and previous experience, you will be required to lead, manage and guide the team to deliver projects within allocated timeframes.
Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities shall include but are not limited to the following.
Conduct market, trend and competitor analysis to derive opportunities with a clear focus on the market, ensuring an understanding to a technical level.
Analyse upcoming trends and product technologies from market requirements and client specifications Identification of customer needs and derivation of requirements for new and existing products along with digital solutions Establish product requirements and features.
Produce high-level product requirements to iterate with design and engineering teams.
Liaise with other Liebherr companies as well as internal departments including Research and Development, Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service etc.
Prioritize product opportunities and formulating business plans, including to liaise with RND on the product roadmap Liaise with existing / potential suppliers or technology providers.
Attending technical and sales industry conferences.
Review and analysis of existing products, lifecycles, costing and financial evaluations.
Budget planning and cost control within your area of responsibility.
Assist in establishing market strategies when launching a new product or feature.
Willingness to travel at home and abroad.
Attending meetings as required ensuring accurate recording of meeting minutes.
Preparation of reports and presentations, establishing and monitoring KPI's.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by management.
Qualifications and Experience: A third level qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering or Technical is preferred).
Previous experience in product management is preferred as well as in the development and support of digital solutions Self-motivated individual.
Management experience is an advantage Proven track record of working with designers, engineers and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute, and track product releases Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Microsoft Office experience across Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
