Sales and Marketing Manager
Join The Recruiter Group's hotel commercial team as a Sales and Marketing professional with hospitality experience.
We are seeking a proactive person with a proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing a team within sales, and working with revenue and reservations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop Annual Sales and Marketing Strategy: Create an action-led strategy leveraging online and offline channels.
* Seasonal Campaigns: Design and implement creative seasonal campaigns using a multi-channel approach.
* Audience Identification: Identify target audiences and segments for marketing efforts.
* Brand Awareness: Increase brand awareness of the rejuvenated Abbey Court Hotel, highlighting recent improvements made to the product.
* B2B Sales: Conduct proactive sales within the corporate market and with tour operators and special interest groups.
* Technical Understanding: Understand the hotel's technological structure, including PMS, RMS, CRM, AI interface, GDS, and booking engine.
* Benchmarking: Monitor the hotel's competitive set and benchmark performance.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, reporting on sales and marketing progress and metrics on a monthly basis.
* Website Management: Manage the hotel website content, assets, organic and paid campaigns, ensuring maximum functionality.
* Relationship Management: Manage third-party relationships with the hotel booking engine and online travel agents.
* Sales & Marketing Budget: Establish and manage the Sales & Marketing budget for review by the General Manager.
* Industry Relationships: Leverage industry relationships with Filte Ireland and Tourism Ireland.
Requirements:
* Hospitality Experience: Essential requirement.
* Target-Driven Personality: Proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing a team within sales, and working with revenue and reservations.
* Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and professional communication in both verbal and written formats.
* Multitasking: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Computer Skills: Excellent computer, presentation, and reporting skills.
* Hotsoft Experience: Advantageous.
* Languages: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
* Experience: 3+ years in a similar role.
