The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Bid Writer / Bid Manager to lead and coordinate the preparation of compelling, high-quality proposals for major infrastructure and consultancy projects across Ireland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a flair for persuasive writing, and can manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines with confidence.
Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end bid process, from opportunity identification through to submission.
* Write, edit, and tailor bid content to align with client requirements and win themes.
* Coordinate input from technical, commercial, and operational teams to develop cohesive proposals.
* Manage bid timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed to a high standard and on time.
* Develop and maintain a library of reusable content, case studies, and CVs.
* Conduct reviews and quality assurance of bid submissions.
* Support post-submission activities, including clarifications and presentations.
* Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform bid strategy.
Requirements
* Proven experience in bid writing and/or bid management, ideally in infrastructure, engineering, or consultancy sectors.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
* Strong project management and organisational abilities.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bid management tools (e.g., InDesign, SharePoint, CRM systems).
* Degree-qualified in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Business, Engineering) is desirable.
