**Role Summary:** F5 is looking for an ambitious and technically skilled **Software Engineering Manager** to join our growing **AI Security team**.
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of **Frontend, Backend, and QA engineers** tasked with delivering cutting-edge AI security features within F5's **Guardrails** and **Red Team products**.
As a leader, you will be responsible for the **end-to-end delivery** of scalable, high-performance, and secure solutions while empowering your team to excel and grow.
**Key Responsibilities:** **Required Qualifications:** **Leadership Experience** **2-3 years of experience in an engineering management role**, with a proven track record of effectively leading multidisciplinary teams in delivering software projects.
Experience in **team scaling and recruitment**, while building a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
**8+ years of experience** in **Software Engineering**, including extensive experience with **frontend** and **backend web application delivery**.
**Architectural Expertise**: Advanced knowledge of frontend/backend application architecture, design patterns, scalability, and performance tuning.
**Vue 3**, **React**, **FastAPI**, or **Django**, with hands-on experience leading teams through large, scalable projects.
Proficiency in web frameworks such as Proven ability to lead **Agile workflows**, managing sprints and ensuring product development stays on track.
**Communication Skills** Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders alike, ensuring alignment and clarity across the organization.
**Preferred Qualifications:** Experience building and maintaining Familiarity with **security domains**, **AI-driven applications**, and managing hybrid or remote teams across different time zones.
Proficiency in modern platform and infrastructure tools such as Knowledge of automated testing frameworks such as **Playwright** or **Selenium**, and experience ensuring QA excellence within Agile teams.
