This position reports to the Production Manager – Area S, Flavour Manufacturing Wexford
Job Objective
This position will perform a wide variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant using Company Quality system guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
These tasks will be in materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling areas.
These will require a level of computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and physical effort.
This position will be required to work on a two-cycle shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities
Perform production activities in materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling areas
Maintain batch records using the FM Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
Prepare all equipment used in the manufacturing process prior to use in order to ensure smooth, sanitary and safe operation
Operate various machines as needed to ensure proper packaging of ingredients
Maintain the plant's manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition according to Company GMP policies and procedures to assure the quality of the manufactured product
Perform final quality check/inspection for accuracy and visible damage prior to shipment to customer
Safeguard Company trademarks that standardize and protect all information surrounding confidential ingredients and flavours manufactured by The Coca-Cola Company to prevent breach of trademark security within the Company
Protect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal safeguards to prevent a breach of trademark security within the Company
Skills and Experience required
Leaving Certificate or equivalent
3+ years' experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma environment
Good mechanical aptitude
Aptitude for operating machinery and equipment
Aptitude for computers and demonstrated computer literacy
SAP experience is an advantage
Familiarisation with SCADA systems and functionality is preferable
Demonstrated experience in team-based environment
Organised, methodical, tidy and the ability to work in a controlled and structured way
Quality focused and excellent attention to detail
Excellent problem solving and solid judgement skills
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Forktruck experience is desirable
