A well-established food manufacturing company based in Naas, Co. Kildare is currently recruiting an Engineering Technician with a strong electrical background to join its on-site Engineering team.This is a hands-on maintenance role within a fast-paced production environment, working a structured Monday–Friday shift pattern.Shift Pattern:Monday to FridayWeekly rotating shifts6:00am – 2:30pm2:30pm – 11:00pm8-hour shiftsKey Responsibilities:Electrical fault-finding, diagnostics and repair of plant and equipmentReactive and planned maintenance across production and site facilitiesInstallation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipmentPLC fault diagnostics (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Schneider)Execution of preventive maintenance programmesSupport utilities including compressed air and refrigeration systemsEnsure compliance with health & safety, food safety and quality standardsLiaise with equipment suppliers and oversee contractorsProvide shift support to production as requiredRequirements:Electrical qualification or time-served ElectricianMinimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance roleStrong electrical fault-finding and diagnostics capabilityMechanical experience an advantageExperience with CMMS, motor control systems, pneumatics and temperature controlPLC experience highly desirableFlexible, reliable and able to work on own initiativeWhat's on Offer:€48k+ DOEMonday–Friday working weekWeekly rotating 8-hour shiftsPermanent, secure roleModern manufacturing environmentStrong engineering team and development opportunities
