ROLE OVERVIEW:

Long O Donnell are looking for contract managers to assume responsibility in the procurement and contract management of the Phase 2 Site Investigations, the procurement of the FSRU, and the procurement of the O&M contractors.

For all NEC contracts the contract managers work closely with the NEC service manager in delivering the procurement and contract management, including the FEED Contractor and the EPC contractor. This role involves preparation of the contract documentation including coordination with the Project's legal support to ensure legal compliance as well as compliance with Client procedures. The specific areas of responsibility are primarily included in Section 4.4, 4.6 and 5.3 of this Scope.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES AND REQUIREMENTS:

The contract manager must have experience in undertaking the role as described above in contract management on previous projects that were similar in nature, scale and complexity and carried out in a similarly demanding environment to the services required in this Scope.

They have experience in both the development of contracts and the administration of contracts.

Experience in the development of contract and packaging strategies) contract negotiation, administration, assurance and cost management.

A strong understanding of public procurement under the Utilities sector and have experience in leading procurement processes. Broad knowledge and experience of various contract conditions (e.g. NEC / FIDIC) and contract models (e.g. DBB, EPC, DB, DBO, DBFO(M), PPP).

The contract managers have knowledge and experience in administration of design contracts and administration of construction contracts.

The contractor managers have demonstrated the ability to develop and implement effective contract strategies that align with the Project objectives. They have successfully negotiated contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the Project.

The contract manager must have experience in contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and managing contract changes.

Have provided assurance and oversight on contract performance, identifying and mitigating risks.

The contract manager has strong cost management skills, ensuring that project costs are controlled and within budget.

They have a deep understanding of risk allocation in contracts, ensuring that risks are appropriately managed and allocated. The contract managers have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as construction management, quantity surveying, construction law or engineering.

The contract manager must have a minimum 10 years' relevant experience
