If you do not meet all the qualifications but still feel that you would be a good fit in this role, we encourage you to apply.ResponsibilitiesOwns and leads the technical aspects of projects with small to medium sized teamsAssists Project Manager in identifying changes in project scope and developing change ordersTranslates functional requirements to system configurationDesigns control system network architectures and control strategiesServes as a technical contact for customersPrograms controllers and configures automation equipmentSelects automation equipment and instrumentationDesigns electrical control cabinets and panels with support from CAD techniciansTests the system configuration to verify functionsTravels to client site for project meetings and system verification.Skills:Thorough understanding of control system design and codingSelf-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with peopleQualificationsRequired QualificationsProfessional level English (C1, C2, or Native)Engineering Degree (MBO, HBO, MS, or BS)Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Computer or Engineering Technology or related degree3+ years of experience in automationAs a minimum, you must be proficient on one or more of the following platforms:Inductive Automation IgnitionRockwell ControlLogix/CompactLogix, PlantPAx, or FactoryTalkEmerson DeltaVSchneider Electric Modicon PLCs, EcoStruxure, PowerSCADA, Power Monitoring Expert (PME)National Instruments LabVIEWSiemens S7, PCS7, or WinCCOr similar IT, automation, or MES platformPreferred Qualifications2+ Years in project management, including project financials2+ Years leading technical projects and engineering teams
