Function
Ensure that specifications, procedures and quality control instructions are fully complied with during processing of components
Maintain a safe and cordial environment that continually improves all processes
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards for processes, products, and systems.
Facilitate and, where necessary, lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes (CAPA).
Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits (e.g., ISO, IAA, customer audits) as required on site.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Develop and analyse quality metrics and present findings to management.
Review and approve quality documentation, including control plans, inspection instructions, and validation protocols.
Serve as a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance and industry standards.
Provide training and mentorship on quality activities.
Support design control, risk management, and FMEA activities.
Lead continuous improvement activities and other quality initiatives as deemed necessary by the Compliance Monitoring Manager or local management team.
Specific duties may be modified from time to time according to changing business needs or at times of company restructuring.
Comply with the organisation’s safety policy, procedures, and work instructions; carry out tasks safely and in accordance with approved practices; use equipment, tools, and protective gear correctly.
Remain vigilant for hazards and unsafe conditions; report hazards, near misses, incidents, or deficiencies promptly; suggest improvements where possible.
Be aware of risks associated with tasks and take steps to minimise them; stop work if unsafe conditions arise and raise the issue to a supervisor/manager; practice 'just culture' by being honest about mistakes or concerns.
Attend safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions; actively engage in drills, exercises, and safety improvement programs; provide feedback to supervisors/managers and contribute to building a positive safety culture.
Follow emergency procedures during incidents; cooperate fully in investigations and audits; support corrective and preventive actions as required.
Maintain personal competence through training and refresher courses; keep up to date with safety notices, updates, and operational changes; encourage peers to work safely and set a positive example.
Person Specification
Experienced in Quality Management Systems
Hold a Level 8 Qualification in relevant discipline
Experienced in engineering processes
Thorough knowledge of business objectives and management processes to achieve excellence in the service of customers
Possess interpersonal skills to communicate and work across departments to ensure compliance to standards
Planning and attention to detail skills are essential
Excellent organisational skills and discipline to meet specific audit deadlines
