Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Accountant to join our Commercial team based in Limerick.
Key Responsibilities:
* Weekly reporting and monitoring of high-profile projects to include forecasting, cashflow management and margin trend analysis.
* Preparation of weekly revenue reports for distribution to Commercial teams and ensuring monthly revenue targets are achieved.
* Assist in preparation of Dashboard Reports for distribution to Business Unit leadership teams.
* Review in progress projects to ensure planned commercial processes are implemented and information on system is accurate.
* Ensure adherence to Kirby processes through regular audits and reviews. Implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
* Escalation and Reporting – audit and present financial information to senior management in a clear and impactful manner with actionable recommendations.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial decisions with overall business objectives.
* Business Automation – presentation and communication skills to drive automated solutions to free up time cross-functionally but retain the integrity of reporting.
* Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial decisions.
* Assist in preparation of reports for monthly Board Meetings.
* Attend meetings as required. Ensure all escalated commercial matters are clearly communicated, actioned and closed where practicable.
Necessary Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office. Experience with Power BI is also beneficial.
