Accounting Technician Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, working 22 hours per week from Monday to Thursday.
This role involves various tasks including payroll management, pension management, direct debit processing, customer payments, and supplier invoice allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Payroll: Wages, bonuses, and enhanced reporting expenses
* Pension management and reporting
* Direct Debit management and processing files
* Customer inbound payments, accounts, and debtor ledger control
* Supplier invoices nominal allocation
* Supplier outbound payments, accounts, and creditor ledger control
* Accounts and book-keeping
* Bank reconciliations
* Weekly bank report
* VAT and Revenue
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have relevant accounting experience. You should also hold a valid work permit in Ireland.
