The National SPCA Head of Centre Longford plays a pivotal role in helping us take the organisation to the next level in the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of animals in our care. Place of Employment: NSPCA Longford, Derryglogher, Keenagh, Co. Longford N39X 257
Reports to: Director of Operations
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: €35,000-€45,000 depending on experience

This role requires an amount of physical labour in conditions that may be difficult and uncomfortable, involving both indoor and outdoor working. It also requires the ability to handle difficult and sometimes distressed animals, as well as working with animals that have been subject to cruel treatment. This role may, on occasion, necessitate the euthanasia of animals based upon veterinary advice and organising carcass disposal as and when required.
