We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join our team in Shannon. The qualified candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day card and / or reader programming, light maintenance of machinery and equipment, and acting as the main support from the Production Leader and/or Production Supervisor. The MO3 is the backup for the MO4 (Production Lead) and will act when MO4 is not able to do so.

As our Machine Operator, you’ll support HID’s success by:
* Must comply with SOPs and work instructions related to job function.
* Will be held accountable to performance standards to ensure output positively contributes to area specific KPIs.
* Participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
* Setup and operate a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines.
* Conduct manual production operations as required.
* Perform daily 5S and PM of equipment and surrounding areas as required.
* Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings.
* Proactively log and escalated potential issues to minimize safety, quality, delivery issues or operational inefficiencies.
* Participate in root cause, corrective/preventive action activities as required.
* Understand workload for the day and define shift hours based on demand.
* Ensure all Machine Operators have the right material and paperwork for them to perform their job correctly.
* Ensure the Order Management process is executed correctly to achieve daily delivery/efficiency targets.
* Be the point of contact between production and support areas to resolve day‑to‑day operational issues.
Your Experience and Education include:
* Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience.
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Familiarity with MS Office applications.
* Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows.
* Ability to navigate and use Excel.
