Our boutique-style hotel in Galway is seeking a skilled Culinary Operations Leader to oversee the kitchen operation, including menu creation and team management.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and quality at all times.
* Developing seasonal menus that showcase local produce.
* Motivating a small team of chefs and kitchen staff.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
* Managing food cost control and stock inventory.
* Collaborating with hotel management to meet customer expectations.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-quality restaurant or hotel setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a kitchen team.
* Passion for fresh, local ingredients and creating exceptional dishes.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory management.
