Excel Recruitment have a part time position for a Senior Physiotherapist in an Adult Primary care team, in Westbury health centre in northwest Limerick city. We are recruiting a Senior Physiotherapist on behalf of a progressive and well-established Primary Care team in Limerick. You will work alongside experienced Senior Physiotherapist, Senior Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists. About the Role As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and supporting people in the community. Your work will help individuals regain mobility, maintain independence, and improve their overall quality of life. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments for patients with a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal, neurological, and age-related conditions. Work collaboratively with the Senior OT, Senior Physiotherapist, and MDT team to deliver patient-centred care. Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and goals. Support early discharge from hospitals by providing rehabilitation and reablement interventions in the community. Liaise with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care. Engage in regular supervision, peer learning, and professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise. Minimum of three years of post-graduate Physiotherapy experience, with at least one year at Senior level (preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting). Strong experience in, Rehabilitation, falls prevention, Musculoskeletal, and/or Neurological Physiotherapy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
