Assist and support management with the development of a quality programme, together with the development of positive relationships with parents, children and families.
Assume assistant management responsibilities in the assistant managers absence.
Model exemplary performance in all areas of responsibility as is outlined in your job description.

The ideal candidate will be:
> Self motivated with a strong work ethic.
> Be diligent and have the capability and proven record to mentor and guide a teams professional practice on the floor.
> One must have strong interpersonnal & communication skills, have computer knowledge and be Fluent in English.
> The ability to work alongside the current management structure to ensure that all relevant/ current policies, procedures and regulation legislation are in place.
> Strong organisation skills are a must with "common sense" being a highly merited trait.
> The abilty to work with a diverse team of like minded professionals with a proven track record and ability to guide & mentor.
> One must have a deep knowldege & understanding of the developmental age & stage of all age groups in the centre (From 4 months old- 8 yrs of age).
> One must have a strong deep rooted knowledge of Aistear & Siolta (Early Years Curriculum) and proven skills in relation to the supporting a team in implemenatation.
> Fulltime position. 5 x days per week. 40 hrs per week.
> The ideal candidate must be flexible, reliable and have a deep rooted passion for working in Early Years.
The successful candidate must have
> Qualification prerequisite:
QQI Level 8 Degree in Early Year Education is desirable.
QQI Level 6 is a minimum requirement.
Three years minimum experience is required.
