Events & Activity Supervisor (Ref: E/EAS/B/925) Job details: Hours:35 hours per week Salary:£36,000 per annum Contract: Permanent Full-Time Location: Belfast Job Background: The Events & Activity Supervisor is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of engaging activities and events across the Bryson portfolio. This role ensures that all activities are delivered in line with operating procedures, with a strong emphasis on health & safety, risk management, staffing, and logistics. The postholder will also contribute to the development of new event ideas, manage stores and administrative functions, and support the continuous improvement of services. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of activities and events in line with organisational objectives. Manage, organise and plan development trips e.g. Austria. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation in line with company policies and industry standards. Manage and organise stores, ensuring equipment and resources are maintained, safe, and prepared for each event or activity. Research and assess new event and activity ideas, ensuring alignment with Brysons strategy and target market. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth event delivery. Essential Criteria: First Aid or Health & Safety certification Experience in event/activity planning and delivery. Knowledge of health & safety practices, including risk assessments. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Ability to manage logistics and staff coordination. Strong administrative skills, with attention to detail. Creative thinking and ability to adapt new ideas into workable event concepts. Willingness to upskill in activity delivery areas. The candidate must hold a full and current driving licence valid in the UK with access to a car and business insurance on appointment. Desirable Criteria Relevant qualification in event management, leisure, or National Governing Body. Walking NGB (minimum Lowland Leader or willing to work towards) Minibus Driving Licence Previous experience within a similar environment.
