Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Building Services Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing designated projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will have excellent technical expertise and strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee the production of designs across the full design lifecycle. You will also provide clear direction and guidance to your team, ensuring that project objectives are met within agreed timelines and budgets.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage designated projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality of outputs
* Oversee the production of designs across the full design lifecycle, including bid, design, installation, and commissioning phases
* Provide clear vision and team direction, leading a high-performing team through effective management, development, and empowerment of staff
* Manage internal and external resources to produce outputs/deliverables in line with contract requirements and client expectations
* Coordinate all design and engineering activities between relevant stakeholders
* Ensure that project technical and performance requirements are flowed down into relevant work packages and validated during commissioning and testing phase
Key Requirements:
* Degree or Trade qualified in an Electrical Building Services discipline
* At least 10 years of relevant experience in similar roles, ideally from an M&E Consultancy background
* Ideally Chartered or working towards chartership
* Proven capability managing projects in a multi-disciplinary environment
* Experience working on projects within the Data Centre, Pharma, or Industrial sectors desirable
* Ability to work across the full project lifecycle, from initial development through detailed design, procurement, and installation and on to commissioning and handover
* A flexible self-starter with a passion for working in a team delivering successful projects
* Excellent technical report writing skills
