Job Description
A Construction Supervisor is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our client in Limerick, a 12-month contractor position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee construction projects and monitor activities at worksites to ensure quality work meets deadlines while adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Perform regular inspections of equipment, materials, and site conditions.
* Schedule meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to discuss project progress and address any issues.
* Prepare and present reports, budgets, project plans, and other documents to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with design houses and other professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest safety codes and advancements in construction.
* Maintain control over project expenditures to meet budget requirements.
* Approve construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
* Work closely with cross-functional groups to develop contracts.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering (preferred but not essential).
* Experience in reviewing MSRA's and issuing permits is essential.
* 5-7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a leadership role being an advantage.
