Today the Company manages a 200+ assets portfolio totalling over 15 million square feet and c. €4.5bn of AUM on behalf of a number of global investors.The IndividualValor is now seeking a motivated, commercially proactive individual to join its Construction team as Senior Associate/Junior VP, with a focus on delivery of industrial and logistics projects across Ireland. The role requires a talented and ambitious individual with a genuine passion for the industry and a desire to enable change. Ideally, they would have 5-7 years' experience managing complex industrial construction projects. The individual will have a professional background (ideally in sector specific quantity surveying), hold the relevant accreditations and be passionate about delivering excellence.ResponsibilitiesThe appointed individual will have day to day accountability for a range of projects, ensuring the highest levels of quality are achieved within the set cost constraints on projects. Duties will include:Oversee active development and refurbishment projects daily. Be present on construction sites and maintain a clear understanding of on-the-ground developments.Ensure that projects adhere to the business plan budget and timeline, identifying and resolving any issues that may affect these.Collaborate with the Investments team to assist in budgeting for development projects, ensuring costs are approved and align with financial forecasts.Lead and supervise the due diligence process prior to acquisition and ensure all construction elements are thoroughly vetted before closing.Manage projects through the Irish planning system, including engagement with Local Authorities and An Bord Pleanála, and oversee statutory approvals including FSC, DAC and BCAR compliance.Identify and appoint relevant technical teams, ensuring the right experts are brought on board for each phase of the project.Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors and consultants, leveraging these relationships to add value to construction projects.Oversee all third-party consultants, including planning consultants, quantity surveyors, employer's agents, architects, structural engineers, contractors, and solicitors.Liaise with the market team and architects to ensure that designs meet the required standards and are aligned with the overall project vision.Work closely with solicitors and Employer's Representatives to prepare, negotiate and administer GCCC and Design & Build construction contracts.Prepare and present reports on project progress, focusing on cost control and programme, to both internal teams, external stakeholders and capital partners.Championing innovation in ESG and implementing sustainable solutions and proven technologies.Experience & Competencies5-7 years' experience in the real estate industry demonstrating relevant experience in Project/ Development Management and ideally Industrial Quantity SurveyingRICS, SCSI or RIBA qualified (or other recognised industry body)Demonstrable management and delivery of major construction/development projects across commercial and/ or industrial sectorsExcellent communication skills/ diplomacy, with ability to manage the interests of multiple stakeholdersExperience at both the pre-contract design, planning, procurement stage; and the post contract delivery stages through to PCInvolvement in legal agreements such as planning agreements, tenant HOTs/agreement for leases, building contracts and appointmentsAn understanding of market analysis, development feasibility analysis, proforma cash flow, RIBA design stage process, statutory approval processes and construction deliveryA focused individual who is skilled at building contract negotiations and the appointment/management of external consultants, agreeing fees and scope of servicesApplication ProcessPlease apply on LinkedIn or send your CV to Based: Dublin, IrelandSalary: CompetitiveImmediate startWebsite: Equal OpportunitiesWe are an employer committed to the principle of equal opportunities, and we are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for all our employees.
