The role sits within a busy, collaborative education team responsible for producing, reviewing and enhancing content across a suite of professional education programmes, with a clear focus on quality, consistency and the overall learner experience.
As an Education Content Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Designing and developing learner-focused educational content, including course materials and digital learning resources
* Collaborating with subject matter experts, authors, lecturers and examiners to deliver projects on time and to quality standards
* Supporting assessment processes, including learner guidance, feedback coordination and preparation of examination documentation
* Ensuring programmes align with academic, industry and quality assurance standards
* Analysing learner engagement and feedback to improve course content design, and learner supports
* Contributing to continuous improvement, research and development initiatives to strengthen content
* Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Skills and experience you will need for the Education Content Specialist role:
* Proven experience developing and writing educational or training content in a professional or academic setting
* Experience working with subject matter experts on content development or review
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn educational technologies (e.g. authoring or video tools)
* Third-level qualification or at least five years' relevant experience in education development
