We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team in Cork. Your responsibilities will include the installation of new systems, including networking setups, as well as diagnosing and resolving a variety of software and hardware issues. Your work will directly impact our clients ability to operate efficiently and effectively.
We value a proactive approach, and your role will involve not only addressing immediate technical concerns but also identifying opportunities to enhance and extend existing service agreements with clients.
Main Accountabilities:
Collaborates with clients to identify problems and develop effective technical solutions.
Responds to or escalate calls within given timeframes.
Performs installation and maintenance of client systems e.g. PCs, (mobile phones).
Develops and maintains client relationships, identifying opportunities to expand service agreements.
Assists in development of test and repair processes.
Liaises with help desks, support centers etc.
Performs trouble shooting and problem resolution.
Requirements and Qualifications:
3 years of experience field service representative or similar role
Experience with managing and preserving technical equipment
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Team player with effective time-management skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications
