This is a rare opportunity to play an integral role in launching and building a new electricity supply offering in Northern Ireland.
Responsible for managing the onboarding of customers onto supply, including managing the business interaction with market messaging, this role will be responsible for continuous improvement ensuring excellent customer experience This is a rare opportunity to join one of Northern Irelands largest energy companies launching a new division with ambitions to scale at high pace.
Key Responsibilities: Ensures that electricity customers come onto the supply on time and with correct opening reads.
Manage all exceptions including rejection messages.
This includes the tracking and identification on any issues within the change of supply process and resolving any exceptions via root-cause analysis.
Ensure account statuses are recorded on system, are up to date and correctly reflect the actual on-supply status.
Identify and resolve anomalies on timely basis.
Provide constructive and effective feedback to other functions (including sales, onboarding, change of tenancy and retention) on any 'agent errors' with objective of eliminating reoccurrence.
Champion continuous improvement, identifying where processes have failed and working with other departments (including IT) to develop robust corrective processes and systems.
Develop systemised reporting frameworks and KPIs to monitor and drive operational excellence.
Identify and implement opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity through automation of manual processing.
Analyse customer data by meter type and tariff to identify and resolve any anomalies Monitor and report on the capture of opening meter reads and successful submission to market within industry required timeframes.
Work with other functions on improvements to maximise the percentage of actual reads at change of supply vs estimated reads.
Report concise data-driven metrics, identifying key trends, and making improvements Criteria Minimum of Level 3 qualification (e.g.
A-levels, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent) Operations experience within the electricity supply or distribution sector Strong commercial decision-making skills and the ability to think creatively Detailed-oriented, process-driven and numeric Strong people leadership skills providing clear direction, coaching and mentoring Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with ability to influence upwards, downwards and laterally Customer focused & results driven Ability to plan, organise and work to deadlines Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to use own initiative and judgement to make decisions Contact Nicky Strutt for more information
