We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team on a 3 month fixed term contract. This role involves managing the main reception, welcoming staff and visitors, and dealing with queries from visitors and guests.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the main reception area and provide a warm welcome to staff and visitors.
* Coordinate the management of contractors and associated paperwork.
* Engage with visiting company representatives.
* Respond to inquiries from visitors and guests.
* Oversee the issue of keys to staff members and ensure access control systems are functioning correctly.
* Maintain and adjust access control systems as required.
* Provide assistance to patients as needed.
* Monitor and control fire systems.
* Supervise carpark and barrier systems.
* Enforce company policies and procedures.
* Ensure the safety and security of property, staff, visitors, and guests.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Support patrolling officers as required.
* Report daily to site supervisor.
* Respond to emergencies and consult with relevant authorities if necessary.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid Private Security Authority License - Static.
* Minimum 6 months industry experience.
* Familiarity with software applications.
* Healthcare experience is an advantage.
* Proven ability to manage front-of-house reception or information desk.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Able to work independently and make decisions.
* Flexibility to work varying shifts.
